In April 2019, La Conner Middle School builders club met with the diaper bank to learn about diaper need. Drawing on their own life experiences, the children were aware that basic needs of families are sometimes in short supply citing food Banks as a helpful resource and how a Diaper Bank could help families with the need for diapers. The students shared that when babies need a diaper change they cry, and if there were not enough diapers, it would lead to stress in a family.

After the meeting they held and diaper drive and participated in to repackaging our diapers for delivery with our partners. They said the diaper drive experience was a highlight of the year and look forward to collecting more diapers next year.
